Didn't tell to many......

Well it's been a little while since I have posted anything. It's been a crazy couple of weeks or should I say month.  Traveling and work functions and car issues and list goes on... However, all things happen for some reason. Recently I took my car in to have service, they then told me that there was going to be some things I need to have fix. Didn't really want to spend all that money to have everything fixed or needed in that case.  Well some may know that I work for a company that sells Mercedes. Being a Mercedes Employee and Master Certified a great deal fell in my lap. I couldn't pass it up.. So I'm not the proud lease owner of a 2013 C300.  I will have to take a better pic of it soon. 

Glad it's Friday

This week has been long !!! We have a new staff member replacing one and then I find out another staff member is leaving. I'm happy for both of them but going to miss them . The new hire is kind of corky in away. Easy to talk and train but is he listening. He's very eager and that worries me a little. But hey I put on the hours and its overtime for me! Extra money !!!!

Ryder Cup

This year I was given the opportunity to go to The Ryder Cup in Illinois . Who would want to pass that up. So Andy and I and I also invited my mom and John. Our tickets were special ones so we were able to go into one of the pavilions too. Took pictures and need to up load them. But now we are going back Sunday for the final round. Pretty exciting to say the least!!!

Pictionary Almost

So I have become addicted to this game call Draw Something. Of course it's an APP on my iPhone but you can play with other people. They have to guess what your drawing and then you get points. It's so bad that I hooked one of my co-workers on it.

 

Fall TV Starts!!!

I'm ready for the Fall Season of television to start up again. I'm tired of all the re-runs that have been airing.  Here are some of my favorites that I'm looking forward to seeing this season. I'm sure there are others that I will try to catch but these are some really good ones I have to say!

Saturday at Home!

Today, was pretty cool! I worked till 4:00 and then come home to relax. But one of the best parts of it was my general manager giving me tickets to the Ryder Cup in Illinois next week! Looking forward to going with Andy and my mom and John! It's one of those once in a lifetime opportunity's.  It will be fun to see whose autograph we can get!

So tonight I'm just hanging out at home and watching the Michigan Football Game and the Illinois Football game! One of my friend's parents are going to be honored at the Illinois game tonight. They are great people and deserve it!

Well I guess it's time to go feed my kitty's and myself! What shall I eat for dinner!!!

Halloween is just right around the corner. I'm surrounded at work by people that have kids . What are the top costumes this year going to be?

Confused

I'm trying to figure out what my body is telling me. Is it this or that and why is this happening. Can't really say to much about what I'm talking about though to be on the safe side. But still kind of frustrating .

Peanut Butter Baby

Today, was a slow day but a fast one too. I did my normal job duties this morning and then this afternoon time started to slow down. So I went into one of the other office's and we started talking about babies, names mostly. Then it became a little different I have to say. One of my co-workers were talking about adopting a baby and that they want a peanut butter baby. My co-worker and I just stared at her and like what did you just say.. A peanut butter baby.. A mix baby, a black and white baby.  I mean I have heard of a Oreo baby but never a peanut butter baby.. So I said, I guess that's what Andy's and I would be in a way. I'm Indian and he's white. So .... I guess it would be a peanut butter baby.  Anyways though it was pretty funny how it came about and brought up.

Then being a surgot( not sure how to spell that) mother came up. That was another interesting conversation.  Do you think you could be one for someone else. I think it would it would have to be someone you are close to and have a good relationship with.

30 Years

So when I turned 30 I didn't really think to much of it. It's just another number and a year older. But do things really change for you when your in the 30's? I don't think they do though I feel tired a little more. But other than that ,nothing!! I'm ready for the weekend!!!!

Going to try this again

Well it's been over a year since I have blogged. But recently a few friends have been blogging and I thought oh what the heck, I will try again. I always have something to share so it really should be easy.  We will see how far I get though.

I can't believe that it's already fall time! It's going to be in 60's tomorrow. Don't get me wrong I love fall weather just didn't think it would jump this fast to cooler weather.

So tonight I was watching this little buy out front and he peed on his house. Granted it was brick but still where are your manners. You in  broad daylight... And your at home.

Cute Baby

I received this email today at work and thought it was cute though this mother had a lot of time on her hands!

This little girl's mother is a computer specialist from Helsinki , Finland . While her daughter is soundly asleep, she creates a completely different world ... from whatever she can find around her! That's how both of them became really famous. What a truly fabulous imagination!

Valentine's Day

Last night while watching the Golden Globe Awards I put all my Valentine stuff out. Then I thought to myself, who came up this holiday? Why does everyone get chocolates and flowers? Who started the trend?  Anyone out there know the answer to these questions?

Basketball vs. Football

Today, I slept in for a little while and then I had to get ready to go to the Illinois basketball game. Andy surprised me with tickets a few weeks ago. Such a great husband! Anyways though , we went out to lunch and then headed to the game. The place was packed with fans that's for sure. There was a fair share of Illinois fans too. I was pretty surprised. The game started and this guys sat down next me and he had one of those radios in his ear. He was commenting on everything that was going on and cursing. Really dude, do you think they can hear you? Sometimes I wanted to laugh at the guy because of what he was saying but I held it in.  In the end, Illinois lost! It was pretty sad.  They left a lot of points out on the court today and there were a lot of bad calls and no calls made.  Maybe next time.

Now were home and watching the football... Whose going to win? We truly are a sports household!

GRANDPA

Today is my Grandpa's Birthday. I have been thinking about him for several days now. It was this time last year that I was visiting him in the ICU. That was the last time I saw him before he passed away. I was very strong today at work and made myself not think to much about it. I had a few tears through out the day but that's to be expected. Grandpa was like a father to me. He walked me down for my wedding and was always there to listen and much more! I miss you grandpa and grandma!

Haircut

Well I chopped my hair and put some layers into it. I was debating whether to put high lights in or not. The lady said it would be ok because I could always go back to my natural color if I didn't like it. I'm still scared to do it though. I have never colored my hair before. My hair is virgin !! I will post a pic soon!

Saturday at Home

Tonight , I'm hanging out at home laying on the couch. I didn't feel all that great this morning. Lets just say we had a good time out with friends last night.  Since I stayed in tonight, I watched a new movie on tv that had Brook White in it. She was on American Idol in 2008. It was really a great movie and it talked about how things can change in a matter of minutes. Your whole life is was on a certain path and then you change paths.

You can plan so many things in life and then some things you can't plan at all. For example, find a house, make sure our jobs our secure, plan to have a family.How much do you plan out in your life?

Bowl Games

Who comes up with all these bowl games? The names and the places? Crazy... Andy was just flipping through the channels and there is a Go Daddy Go Bowl game.. Are you kidding me!!!

Bowling and other Random things......

Tonight , I would normally be bowling with the ladies. However not so much tonight. Because I was a klutz and fell down the stairs as my husband says, I managed to sprain my Achilles tendon. NOT COOL! Tonight, I tried to bowl a couple of balls and it just wasn't working. I put my shoes back on and that was the end of that. Who knows when I will be able to bowl again.. Oh well...

Today at work someone asked me ," Do you ever get upset and show it?" I told him if I do I normally don't show it or I bottle it up. I'm just the type of person who doesn't get mad a lot. It take a lot for me to get upset. What do you do when you get upset?
